Independent Multidisciplinary Fine Artist - Lauren Paige (August 2022)
Resident fine artist: painter, poet and writer; researcher, curator, tutor, specialist academic mentor/communication specialist - Lauren Paige (BBC's Show Me the Monet semi-finalist) founded this self-funded and independent art gallery.
Lauren’s visionary works cover the emotional spectrum, in palette, subject, and form. Her mark-making is fluid and intentional, with a suggestive core. The latter aspect of her paintings invites introspection whilst also energising the viewer. Lauren’s paintings evoke optimism and hope, bearing a striking (sometimes uncomfortable) quality of transparency - with each piece feeling as though it is ‘alive’/full of life - an extension of the purposeful elegance the artist herself embodies.
